From the Hollow

Dried floral arrangement with various flowers and foliage in a round wooden base, next to an empty glass cloche.

Blooms to Bones

When Life and Death meet for high tea. A reimagined table offering—this cloche-guarded bouquet marries the remnants of a once-living creature with the preserved joy of blooms. It asks: What if we honored endings the way we do beginnings?

Rebirth Through Silence

A coyote skull rests with its jaws open—not in a snarl, but in offering. Rising from its hollow mouth is a bouquet of dried blooms, a soft explosion of life born from stillness. Moss clings to the base like memory, while amethyst crystals shimmer like hidden truths beneath forest soil.

This piece speaks of transformation—how even in death, nature finds a way to bloom. It’s a meditation on cycles, wildness, and the quiet beauty of what remains.

The Lore

Fairy Wings & Bony Things began with a childhood love for insects and a desire to display them in a way that felt natural, magical, and alive. What started as a few shadow boxes made for my own walls quickly grew into a full collection—and eventually, a small business born from passion.

Each piece is handmade using ethically sourced insects, bones, mosses, crystals, and dried florals. Nothing is ever killed for the sake of art. These natural elements may carry imperfections—a wrinkled wing, a spot of wear—but I believe those details add to their story. Alongside me is my partner. He makes the digital art for prints, stickers, and apparel. Together we create pieces that celebrate nature’s quiet beauty, even after death.

Based in Hamilton, Ontario, this is our little world of wings, bones, and wonder.
